Problem with Plainly Simple Clothing Hi, there.
On April 25, I ordered two dresses from an online modest-clothing vendor called Plainly Simple. (They are also known as Fig n Folly.) The woman I emailed with, Susannah, promised the dresses within three to four weeks. A month went by, no dresses. I emailed her and she wrote and promised the dresses would be cut "next week." When no dresses arrived, I emailed again, and this time I got no reply. She has not replied to my emails since early June, she has not delievered the dresses, and she did not return my phone call, and I've already paid thru PayPal. (I would assume if she HAD sent them and there had been a problem with delivery, she wouldn't have stopped corresponding with me.)
Anyway, by the time I realized she was not going to deliver, it was too late to dispute the charge with my bank, but PayPal did let me file a complaint and they promised to keep an eye on her account. I guess I am out the $123 I paid Plainly Simple
Has anyone else had this problem? I feel so ripped off. So much for trusting a "Christian" online business.

so sorry this happened to you.
If I were in this situation I would continue to call, write and email until someone was able to explain and rectify the problem. Though I haven't heard of them before your post, it seems that it is a community business. If you can call all their contact numbers maybe you can bring about some 'peer accountability'.
Also, the website says from 2 up to 9 weeks before you receive your garments. I realize that this is also past, but not by so much. Maybe this can still be resolved happily.
Please keep us updated. If they do not deliver or talk to you, perhaps you can report them to the Better Business Bureau. Usually someone will talk to the BBB and they will respond to your request by mail to explain the investigation etc and try to rectify so as not to have a complaint filed against them.

That is fabulous advice. I had thought about contacting the BBB, but I guess I'm still hoping against hope I'll see those dresses. Meantime, I will keep contacting Plainly SImple until I get some satisfaction, and I love the idea of contacting their peers for help.
