If you sew, you can use your falling apart streatchy skirts to make a maternity panel in a new or thrifted skirt (non elastic waistband type) of you prepregnancy size. It takes a little guess work, but requires very basic sewing. You can alter 2 regular skirts with one streatchy skirt. I had a skirt and a pair of pants ( when I use to wear them) like this with my third pregnancy and they fit better than boughten maternity clothing.

Hi. I found that the tiered skirts that have recently been popular are great for pregnancy. I bought mine at Walmart for about $14. They have a drawstring waist, and are long (to my midcalf and I am 5'9"). I had the smallest size and it is just now getting to where it barely fits and I am 22+ weeks along. I bought a couple more in larger sizes and I'm sure they'll get me all the way through. They are getting harder to find now, although I did find 2 on the clearance rack for $5 each a couple of days ago. Thrift stores might start having them soon too.
