Good Morning! I found this list and just wanted to pass something along. I've found several relatively inexpensive, modest dresses at Blair.com. They fit me well- I'm a size 12- and they're fairly well made. I can't make dresses at home for less. I was pleased with the quality at the price. Coldwater Creek also sometimes has some attractive, extremely well-made styles at around $100- 120. You can catch their sales sometimes, though. Of course there's always Old Pueblo Traders. Anyway, my husband and I live in East Texas with our little daughter and lots of animals. Even here it's sometimes hard to find modest clothing, even for little girls. The sad fact is that many of our young women, esp. 20-something and under, don't even realize what they look like. A social worker friend of mine who worked for the state for 30+ years said that many of the expectant or at-risk unwed girls that she dealt with thought they looked "pretty" when they were dressed provocatively. How sad! No one had ever trained them or told them the old line, "Men will date a fast woman, but they don't want to marry one."
